As a new addition to our Raise the Roof event, we will be honoring the winners of our first annual student art contest. Compass asked students, “What does inclusion look like to you?”, and will be honoring student winners.

About the Venue: Lone Oak Brewing Company
Lone Oak Brewing Company is not just a brewery at a farm. Rather, it’s a farm with a brewery. It’s 28.66 acres of bucolic fields and streams, a pond, and wide-open spaces. It’s wildflowers and wildlife. It’s crops – barley and hops – and berries and hay. It’s bees raised to produce honey. It’s sunsets and a majestic, pre-Civil War oak tree. They believe that beer is more than just a beverage – it is a celebration of history, community, agriculture, and the natural world.
Event Caterer: Simply Fresh Events
Simply Fresh Events will return as the caterers for this event. Like last year, we will be having a BBQ buffet with vegetarian and vegan selections. In addition, after feedback from last years attendees, Simply Fresh events will be serving a wine bar for those who prefer Blancs over brews.
Simply Fresh Events was started in 2015 by two couples and a group of close friends, and now operates out of the Gaithersburg area.
